On Saturday May 27, 2023 and Sunday, May 28, 2023, Camisha L. Simmons presented on the topic of “Using the Metaverse to Settle Mars” at the International Space Development Conference in Frisco, Texas. The presentation explored the “why,” “how,” and legalities of using the Metaverse to begin settlement of Mars and Outer Space. She was a speaker at the Mars Track led by Dr. Pascal Lee and the LaunchPad TED-Style session led by Dr. Shawna Pandya.
